Brand Protection is an anti-counterfeit network, found by several young lawyers with the aim of reducing the offering of counterfeit goods and products across the globe. Our focus has always been the protection of the trademarks of our clients in the online marketplace and we have a team of highly skilled lawyers, each of whom specializes in a separate area of the online market. Our main focus are the most popular online places for selling goods, like Amazon, Ebay, Etsy, Facebook marketplace, Bonanza and others, but we also monitor many other small websites and marketplaces, that can be a subject of offering counterfeit goods and products or infringe the trademarks of our clients in any way. Our customer database includes many different companies in different areas and industries, however our approach is always the same, no matter what type of product infringes the brand of the companies, that trust us to protect their interests.
WHAT WE DO?
We have different ways to fight against trademark infringement, related to our customer’s brands and trademarks.
We carefully analyze each website or online listing, that we suspect of infringing our client’s trademark, and if we gather enough evidence and are convinced, that we have every reason to believe that the product is counterfeit, we take one or more of the following measures:
- Directly contacting the website or the vendor, offering the counterfeit goods or products for sale.
- Contacting the online marketplace, where the listing, containing the counterfeit product was created.
- Contacting the online payment service, that the website or the vendor uses to accept payments for the products, that he is selling.
- Making a test purchase of the suspected counterfeit product, so we can verify the product and the vendor.
- Starting legal actions against sellers, who repeatedly infringe on our client’s trademark.
